Tracy Plant is the People and Culture Director at CIS Security, where she has been a driving force behind the organisation’s people strategy since joining in 2000. A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Tracy has played a pivotal role in shaping a progressive and inclusive culture within the security sector.
Over her tenure, Tracy has spearheaded a range of impactful initiatives, including the successful implementation of apprenticeship programmes across HR, IT, Payroll, Intelligence, and Frontline Security, attracting and developing young talent across the industry.
Tracy currently serves as a director on both the City Security Council People Board and EDI Board, where her leadership has helped deliver nationally recognised Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) outcomes, including the introduction of frontline staff recognition awards and wellbeing programmes. Her contributions have been recognised with two 2025 OSPAs awards for outstanding achievement in EDI.
She has also served as Director of the Industry Skills Board (2022–2024), leading strategic efforts to address skills gaps and launching a dedicated academy for the security profession.
Tracy’s commitment extends beyond CIS Security through her roles as a Member of the SIA Business Strategy Group, Chair of the CIS Citizenship Forum, and Leader of the CIS Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy Team. She is also an Association Member and Grant-Making Committee Member for the Hospital Saturday Fund Charity, and a Director of the CIS Citizenship Trust, which donates £100,000 annually to community initiatives.
Tracy brings over three decades of strategic HR leadership and a deep commitment to equity, wellbeing, and professional development in the security industry.
